A Melbourne buyer has paid $2.48 million at auction for a 1,922 square metre development site in Burwood, in the city's west close to Deakin University. It has two titles at 47 and 49 McIntyre Street. One is a 696 sqm site with a three bedroom house leased to December, the other is a former Telstra office and warehouse of 1,226 sqm, both zoned residential, Vinci Carbone Property director Joseph Carbone said there was strong bidding from eight bidders, and there were more than 80 enquiries during the campaign.
